The magazine includes in depth features on new products, up to the minute research and highway maintenance projects, as well as news stories and comment from some of the main figures in the asphalt industry.

The magazine was launched in 1997 and is now published twice a year with a circulation of over 12,000. Modern Asphalts is delivered as an outsert to Highways magazine and to a database of over 5,000 individuals working in the UK road maintenance and construction industries.
